Rob Dillingham tested by Spurs

It's unclear if his wish to play with Victor Wembanyma will come true, but Rob Dillingham was in San Antonio on Wednesday to do a workout. Due to an ankle injury, Kentucky's 6th man had to wait until Friday to take physical testing at the Draft Combine. It was at the Lakers' facilities.

Since then, the leader has received the green light from the doctors, and the Spurs therefore invited him for a trial. This weekend, he is also expected by Detroit, which has the 5th choice in the Draft. The Jazz (10th choice) and the Bulls (12th choice) also asked to meet him.

Considered the best leader/scorer of this 2024 vintage, Rob Dillingham averaged 15.2 points, 3.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 interceptions during his freshman year. We will also remember his 44.4% at 3-points, and his title of best sixth man in the SEC.

For the moment, his rating places him between 4th and 10th places, and the Spurs have the 4th and 8th choices in the Draft. A few days ago, he confided that he would like to send a few lobbed passes to Victor Wembanyama. “ It was the craziest first year in a long time. He could become one of the best players of all time. If I play with Wemby, it's obvious: I come in to give the ball to Wemby », he is already planning.
