After Goran Dragic, it’s the turn of Tomas Satoransky to negotiate a “buyout” with the leaders of the Spurs, and the Czech leader will be a free agent in 48 hours. But according to ESPN, Satoransky has already decided on the name of his new team, and it will be Washington.
After stints with the Bulls, and the Pelicans, then an exchange with the Blazers and finally the Spurs, the Czech decided to relaunch his career at the Wizards, where he had evolved between 2016 and 2019. He arrives there when there is a real lack in the lead since Spencer Dinwiddie was not replaced.
Even deprived of Bradley Beal, the Wizards are still in the race for a place in the “play-in”, and they will count on the Czech, but also Kristaps Porzingis whose debut is highly anticipated.
Satoransky returns to the Wizards where he played three seasons through 2018. Washington has minutes to offer Satoransky in their backcourt for the rest of season.
