Players of the week: Kevin Durant and Paul George honored

No surprise with, as in our best five, the coronations of Paul George (Clippers) and Kevin Durant (Nets) as “Players of the week”. They were preferred to Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Desmond Bane, Donovan Mitchell, Jrue Holiday, De’Aaron Fox, Lauri Markkanen, Dejounte Murray or Paolo Banchero.

On the one hand, back to a nice level after an extremely delicate start, “PG13” shot to 32.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.3 steals on average, 56% on shots, 45% at 3-pts and 82% in free throws. Mainly guiding the Clippers to a week of three wins in four games…

On the other hand, despite his team’s extra-sporting issues, “KD” also led the Nets to a 3-1 record last week. Posting statistics of 30.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.8 blocks per game, 53% in shots, 37% in 3-pts and 100% in free throws.

Note that Paul George is decorated for the 11th time in his career, while it is the 30th time for Kevin Durant.
