Pistons lose Isaiah Stewart

The hard blows are linked to Detroit. Already deprived of Cade Cunningham at least until the weekend, the Michigan franchise has just learned thatIsaiah Stewart would be away from the prosecution for two to three weeks.

The Pistons starting pivot, who is averaging 12.0 points and 9.3 rebounds this season, is actually suffering from a sprained right big toe. An injury contracted Monday evening, against the Raptors, and moreover identical to that of Desmond Bane with the Grizzlies.

In the absence of Isaiah Stewart, who will therefore miss his potential reunion with LeBron James this weekend, it is Jalen Duren (6.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.2 against average) who should recover his place in the five of Dwane Casey. Unless he prefers to opt for the experience of Nerlens Noel (2.8 points and 3.8 rebounds on average), yet glued to the end of the bench since he returned from injury.
