Phoenix interested in TJ McConnell?

Since the departures of Chris Paul and Cameron Payne, phoenix finds himself somewhat helpless in position 1, so much so that Bradley Beal is expected as the starting playmaker of the Suns next season, though the game’s creation will be shared with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.

Even if the situation could be worse, the Arizona franchise should nevertheless consider strengthening the lead and it is with this in mind that Insider Marc Stein expresses an interest in a certain TJ McConnell (8.7 points, 5.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals average in 2022/23).

Among the best backup point guards in the league since joining the Pacers, the 31-year-old player would come to Phoenix to bring his dynamism, his qualities in shooting and creation or even his craftiness when coming off the bench. Passed by the University of Arizona for two years, he would find a bonus in a state he knows well…

Problem: TJ McConnell is under contract with Indiana until 2025 and, to recover it, the Suns will probably have to wait until mid-December, the date from which they can transfer their players recruited during the summer.
