Payton Pritchard does it again against the Sixers

Third game in four nights for the Celtics, and second victory in a row against the Sixers still deprived of Joel Embiid and James Harden. On the Boston side, no Jayson Tatum, nor Jaylen Brown, but their teammates provide the essentials with a 112-101 victory on the Philadelphia floor. For the third time in three matches, Payton Pritchard finishes top scorer of his formation with 17 points, and he greatly participates in the acceleration in the 3rd quarter.

Leading at the break (67-59) with 11 points each for Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, the Celtics will fall asleep after returning from the locker room, and Kelly Oubre Jr. will be at the heart of an 8-0 to tie it at 72-72. For three minutes, we then witness a festival of blunders and it is Luke Kornet, well served on a down pass by Sam Hauser, who unblocks the situation, with the And-1 (75-72). Behind, Hauser plants a 3-pointer, then the Pritchard-Queta duo signs a 7-0 to take off.

Boston ends the quarter with an 18-3 lead, which turns into 22-6. Mass is said, and Joe Mazzulla opens his bench wide, while Nick Nurse continues to work with the return of Tobias Harris and Pat Beverley. On arrival, it was a second setback in a row for Philly, still against the Celtics. Next match, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, against the Nets. Will James Harden and Joel Embiid be suited up?
