Already under investigation by the Indianapolis police since Wednesday, Patrick Beverly is now suspended for four matches by the NBA. A suspension, with withholding of salary, which he will of course serve at the start of next season, because he has been on vacation since last week.
A sanction notably pronounced following the altercation of the leader with a Pacers fan, the evening of this Game 6 which saw the Bucks be eliminated in the first round. Frustrated, he threw a ball at a spectator with force. Then stating in his podcast about being called out in a way he's never been called out before by this Indy fan.
The suspension also concerns the bad behavior of Patrick Beverley towards an ESPN producer, refusing her an interview in the locker room, on the sidelines of the same match between Indiana and Milwaukee, last Thursday. He has since apologized to the person concerned, while the American media also had to deny rumors of the player being banned from its airwaves.
