For his first match in the G-League, Bronny James clearly did not have a great performance, with only 6 points at 2/9 shooting and 5 lost balls in a big victory (110-96) against the Salt Lake City Stars.
For his second outing, since he will only play the home matches, against the Stockton Kings, and still under the eyes of his father LeBron James, the 55th choice of the last Draft did little better by compiling 4 points to 2/10 shooting, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 25 minutes. And he and his people lost (122-127).
For his part, Armel Traore on the other hand confirmed his first match (10 points, 11 rebounds) by even going up a notch with 25 points and 11 rebounds in 34 minutes. The Frenchman was certainly a little clumsy, with 7/16 shooting, and he had some waste in his game (5 lost balls as well as 6 fouls committed), but he finished much better scorer and rebounder for the South Bay Lakers in this encounter.
Enough to celebrate, in the best possible way, his first minutes in the NBA collected against the Pelicans.
