On October 10, Real Madrid will challenge the Mavericks of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving

It was Mark Cuban’s wish last October, and the NBA has granted his wish: there will be an opposition between Real Madrid and his Mavericks. The NBA announces that the meeting will take place at WiZink Center Madrid on October 10, and it’s a royal poster with Luka Doncic in front of his former audience, along with Kyrie Irving and rookies Grant Williams, Seth Curry and Dante Exum. Opposite, three Frenchmen (Fabien Causeur, Vincent Poitier and Guerschon Yabusele) surrounded by very big names like Facundo Campazzo, Gabriel Deck, Rudy Fernandez, Sergio Llull or Sergio Rodriguez.

Real Madrid haven’t faced an NBA franchise since 2016, and back then that same Luka Doncic played in the overtime win over the Thunder. The leader of Slovenia had also left the capital on a title of Euroleague champion and MVP in 2018.

This meeting will take place as part of a mini-tour of the Mavericks abroad since the players of Jason Kidd are also expected in early October in Abu Dhabi. At the Etihad Arena, Doncic and his teammates will take on Wolves of Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert on October 5-7.
