Olympic basketball attendance record broken at 2024 Olympics!

Until now, this was held by the Atlanta 1996 Games. With their SuperDome (30,000 seats), they attracted 1,068,032 spectators during the 92 games played (40 more than during this edition).

With the Arena Bercy being full for this women's gold medal match, there were ultimately 1,078,000 spectators who attended the 52 matches played in Lille and then Paris.
