Nicolas Batum will begin his “Last Dance”

To see him play with the Blues, we say to ourselves that Nicholas Batum still has plenty under the hood, but the Clippers winger has indeed decided to end his career in a year. This is confirmed by his companion on social networks, while a surfer wondered if Batum could one day evolve under the orders of Gregg Popovich.

“Nico decided to end his career (NBA and French team) after the Olympics, so this is his last season with the Clippers”, written by Aurélie Batum.

This is exactly what Batum declared in May 2022 with a very specific program: “ I want to play two more years and ideally it would be: go far with the Clippers, World Cup, go far with the Clippers again, then the Paris Olympics and finish my career there. »

However, Batum will be “only” 35 at the end of the 2024 Olympics, and he could perfectly play in Europe, in a big Euroleague team. Why not at Asvel where he holds a leadership position? His partner chills the track in a Tweet, adding that no team will force his hand: “The main interested party will be the only one to decide. No club will decide for him.”
