New career passing record for Devin Booker

The last two matches show how much the return of Devin Booker relieves Kevin Durant. The Phoenix star averages 34.5 points with 70% shooting success and 80% 3-point shooting against Minnesota and Utah. He also delivered a veritable symphony in Salt Lake City.

Devin Booker too, in another register. The new leader of the Suns, in addition to scoring 24 points, delivered 15 assists, his new record since his old one dated December 22, 2018, with 14 offerings against Washington.

“He’s one of the best guards in the league, and now he’s a playmaker – he plays like that – who also scores. He gave 15 passes while only losing one ball.underlines admiringly Frank Vogel for ESPN.

Devin Booker had already given six passes at the end of the first quarter and, in this victory, his favorite receivers were obviously Kevin Durant (five passes) and Drew Eubanks (three).

“He’s so easy and doesn’t chase assists,” comments the former Warriors player. “He played with the rhythm of the match and like a perfect playmaker during this meeting. »
