NCAA | One last dance in Memphis for Jahvon Quinerly

Listed in the NCAA transfer portal at the end of June after three seasons with Alabama, Jahvon Quinerly unveiled its next team: it will be Memphisfor his fifth and final college season.

Aged 24, the leader who had started at Villanova before joining Alabama was the best player available in his position at this late period of the offseason, and therefore strengthens the Tigers workforce.

In Tennessee, Jahvon Quinerly will undoubtedly be Penny Hardaway’s starting point guard, and will form a pair with great offensive potential on the rear drive with Caleb Mills, who arrived from Florida State.

In addition, one can imagine the former Crimson Tide taking on a role of mentor for Mikey Williams, “freshman” star of the program at the start of the school year, but plagued by legal worries lately and therefore in search of an environment and a stable entourage in the coming months, on the university circuit.

Under the leadership of their new leader and his experience, the Memphis Tigers will in any case try to retain their title of champions of the AAC conference, won last spring at the expense of Houston.
