NCAA | Bronny James stays in Los Angeles and joins USC!

Here we are: after months of speculation about his future university, as his “freshman” year begins at the start of the school year, Bronny James finally made his choice.

Without real surprise, even if Oregon and Ohio State, the two other universities he considered, had reason to believe it, the oldest son of LeBron James therefore joined the University of Southern California (USC), whose campus is in Los Angeles. The choice of geographical proximity with his dad therefore got the better of the family’s strong ties with Nike (whose HQ is in Portland, close to the Oregon campus), and even the call of the fold.

Under the tunic of the Trojans, Bronny James will thus form an incredible triplet of backs with the experienced Boogie Ellis and the young Isaiah Collier, also a “freshman”, ranked first among the best players of the 2023 promotion this season. Two natural scorers alongside whom he will be able to express himself as ball carrier and distributor, his natural role, limiting his responsibilities to “scoring” for better efficiency.
