NBA renews its air fleet with 13 Airbus A321neo

According to specialist mediathe NBA has just chosen 13 Airbus A321neo to transport its teams, basketball players being the athletes in the major American sports leagues who fly the most.

The Major League will lease its planes to SMBC Aviation Capital, with Delta Airlines then taking charge of flying them with its pilots and cabin crew.

Obviously, they will be adapted to the needs of NBA players, with Comlux having to adapt the interior to provide the most pleasant transport possible for players, but also for staff and equipment.

This means that there will be large beds available (adapted to the size of basketball players) and humidifiers to allow players to sleep better during travel, which is a key factor in the risk of injury.

With these 13 new planes at the disposal of the teams, the NBA believes in any case that it will be able to ensure the travel of all these franchises during the regular season and then in the playoffs. Especially since several franchises (LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, etc.) have their own planes.
