By eliminating the Grizzlies, the “King” won his 40th career playoff series (source: StatMuse). A record he shares (for now) with Derek Fisher. The former Los Angeles playmaker is still the second most capped player in the playoffs with 259 games played.
The absolute record against the Kings or the Warriors?
The two players are ahead of Robert Horry and his 39 series won with Houston, Los Angeles and San Antonio, then Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (37), Tim Duncan (33) or even Kobe Bryant and Scottie Pippen (33).
