It has now been a few days since an anonymous account published, on social networks, images and videos taken from the online accounts of a teenager, visibly engaged in an intimate relationship with Josh Giddey.
This anonymous account ensures that the teenager was a sophomore in high school last year, when she and the Australian from Oklahoma City were having an affair. So she would have been 15 or 16 years old at the time, while Josh Giddey was 19 or 20 years old. An age difference that constitutes a misdemeanor in Oklahoma.
When contacted today, Mark Daigneault and Josh Giddey declined to comment on the accusations. The basketball player responded that he understood the questions, but had no comment at this time.
But, tonight, NBA spokespersonMike Bass, announces that the league “examines allegations about Josh Giddey, regarding an inappropriate relationship with a minor, which emerged via social media”.
