Nassir Little tested by Celtics and Warriors

With only 12 players under guaranteed contracts for the upcoming season, the Warriors can afford to try out more, and the players without contracts know there is a real opportunity to start the season with a big-name franchise. That's the case for Nassir Little who will meet the staffs of four franchises : the Warriors therefore, but also the Kings, the Celtics and the Heat.

His best chance of landing a contract is in California, since the Kings, like the Warriors, have only 12 players under guaranteed contracts for the season. Both franchises can afford to part ways with three players whose contracts are not guaranteed.

Cut by the Suns for budgetary reasons, Little has no money problem since Phoenix will pay him the remaining $22 million on his contract. He can therefore accept a one-year deal at minimum salary, and his profile as a defensive outside could interest a title contender.

On the Celtics and Heat side, there is only one roster spot left, and both franchises could wait until 2025 to sign a 15th player. Like Little, many good players are still without a contract, such as Markelle Fultz, Robert Covington, Jae Crowder, Bismack Biyombo and Danilo Gallinari.
