In Cleveland, this is GM Koby Altman who had dealings with the police for his dangerous driving.
On Friday evening, police officers saw a Lexus committing a traffic violation and then, after stopping the vehicle, they were able to notice that the driver showed signs of intoxication.
The 40-year-old manager, in post as GM in Ohio since 2017 and extended last year by the franchise until 2028, was therefore placed under arrest. The police note, however, that he was cooperative and respectful throughout the arrest.
In the process, the Cavaliers issued a short press release: “We are aware of an incident involving Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman. We are currently gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.”
