Mike Batiste suspended two matches for his collision with a spectator | NBA

The images symbolized the tension that reigned in Washington in recent weeks, between very disappointing results and the announcement of the end of the season for Bradley Beal.

Assistant coach Mike Batiste had heated up with a spectator who had invisibly made inappropriate comments. The former NBA player, who was a star in Europe, was quickly arrested by Montrezl Harrell (who is no longer there, but in Charlotte) and Thomas Bryant, thus avoiding an even more serious incident.

Mike Batiste nevertheless received a two-match suspension without pay, said the franchise. He has already served one game, the one won against the Nets on Thursday night, and the second will be Saturday night against the Kings.
