Mikal Bridges also ready to give a gift to the Knicks?

The “Nova Knicks” seem ready to do anything to win at new York. Like Jalen Brunson, who just re-signed leaving a hundred million dollars on the way, it's Mikal Bridges which could soon extend to the “Big Apple” by doing its leaders a favor. An indiscretion that comes to us from Marc Stein.

From October, the new winger of the Knicks will thus be able to sign a new contract with the New York franchise. For a maximum of two years, in this case (and $72.5 million). Unless he prefers to wait until the summer of 2025 to sign again, for three or four years this time, but exceeding $40 million annually.

Alternatively, he can also wait until 2026 and obtain the modest sum of… 297 million dollars over five years!

Mikal Bridges (19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 2023–24) is currently under a guaranteed contract for two more seasons ($48.2 million total). Contractually, he is one of the most valuable players in the league since his extension in Phoenix in 2021.
