After recruiting Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Jordan McRae and Ben McLemore, theAEK Athens confirms its ambitions with the arrival of Mfiondu Kabengele. Twenty-seventh choice of the 2018 Draft, the Canadian pivot of Congolese origin played for the Clippers, the Cavaliers and the Celtics for a total of 55 matches.
Last season, Kabengele mainly played in the G-League where he averaged 18.6 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.4 cts. In December, the former Florida State interior explained that he had changed the way he played and considered his career.
” When you arrive in the league, you have an idea of the type of player you want to be, with this style of play he confided. ” I started all over again [en arrivant à Rio Grande].
