Marvin Bagley’s brother to the Sixers

Perhaps we will soon have a new siblings in the NBA since the Sixers have just signed Marcus Bagley, Marvin’s brother. Aged 22, this winger comes straight out of Arizona State, the same university as… James Harden.

We can’t say that he went well at university since he only played… 17 matches in three years!

Beyond a knee injury, he attacked his coach, Bobby Hurley, several times on social networks, and he had received several suspensions.

Fed up, the university management finally decided to permanently remove him from the team. Undrafted, Marvin’s little brother had been signed by the Sixers for the Summer League, but he did not come into play. At training camp, his goal will be to recover one of the “two-way contract”but he starts from very, very far away.

Two-way contract : Designed to create a new bridge between the NBA and the G-League, this type of contract allows each team to secure the services of two or three additional players, to develop them mainly in their affiliated development league franchise but also up to 50 matches in the NBA.
