Marcus Morris leaves Spurs

Soon a fourth team for Marcus Morris this season ? Response in a few hours. In the meantime, his adventure with the Spurs is over since The Athletic announces that he has negotiated his exit with San Antonio.

He is now free and only has a few hours left to bounce back if he wants to play in the playoffs in a few weeks. For this, he absolutely must sign with his new team this Friday.

Still, the options for Marcus Morris, who started the season in Philadelphia before joining the Clippers, are quite limited. Because like Kyle Lowry before him, he had a big contract ($17.1 million) and that prevents teams already in the red financially from positioning themselves on him.

So, because of the new collective agreement, the Celtics, Warriors, Nuggets, Heat, Bucks, Suns and Clippers cannot recruit him. Nor the Sixers, who do not have the right to sign a player transferred and then cut.

Three weeks ago, Patrick Beverley announced that Markieff's brother (34 years old) was going to join Wolves. The next few hours will confirm or not the Bucks player's prediction.
