The Knicks and Wolves have begun preparations to allow Karl-Anthony Towns to arrive in New York and Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to join Minnesota. Obviously with consequences on the Knicks roster.
Yesterday, these are Marcus Morris And Chuma Okeke who have officially been asked to pack their bags. The two players, who are 3/4 positions, were respectively signed under “Exhibit 9” and “Exhibit 10” contracts, and their departures will allow the necessary “sign-and-trade” to be carried out for the exchange.
This will allow the Knicks to have sufficient places in the squad to notably sign DaQuan Jeffries, in order to then send him to the Hornets. Note that the Wolves cut Chasson Randle.
