While Nike has just formalized the release of a signature model for A'ja Wilson, the comma brand has sent a new nod to women's basketball and the WNBA by releasing a “Jewell Loyd” colorway of the Nike GT Cut 3. A great mark of respect for the career of the iconic Seattle Storm fullback, double WNBA champion, and also double world champion and Olympic champion with Team USA.
The pair comes with a light purple upper with touches of blue on the upper part including the tongue, the base of the heel but also under the back of the outsole. The front part of the shoe, including the sole, comes out in red. Finally, we note the presence of multicolored smileys to complete the whole thing.
As a reminder, the Nike GT Cut 3 is the third creation in the “GT Cut” range, the one which was the most popular with the general public alongside the Nike GT Jump and GT Run. The design and lower cut have been redesigned and the upper is completed with Flywire cables for better support in the forefoot, as well as TPU walls. The big novelty of this third edition lies in its midsole, made up of a brand new foam for a basketball shoe, the Zoom X.
The Nike GT Cut 3 “Jewell Loyd” is already available on Basket4Ballersat a price of 200 euros.
