Looking for a coach, the Hornets begin their casting

We learned mid-week, Steve Clifford will no longer be the Hornets coach next season. Under contract, the former Magic coach prefers to take a step back, and even if he will finish the season on the bench, this announcement allows his leaders to begin the search for his successor.

According to ESPN, the new management has already completed four appointments for interviews, and these are four young, highly rated assistants. There is David Adelman, Mike Malone's right-hand man at the Nuggets. Unsurprisingly, Jordi Fernandez is on their list. The Canada coach is Mike Brown's first assistant at the Kings, and he also went through Mike Malone's staff.

To his two names, we must add Charles Lee, Joe Mazzulla's right-hand man at the Celtics, and the usual Kevin Young, the highest paid assistant in the NBA, first assistant to Frank Vogel at the Suns.

Obviously, this list should grow in the coming weeks, and it should be remembered that some renowned coaches are unemployed such as Mike Budenholzer, Terry Stotts and Mark Jackson.
