Lonzo Ball will still have to wait before returning

We are almost at the end of the ten-day absence period mentioned after the injury to the right wrist of Lonzo Ball. However, the Bulls playmaker will not return to the court straight away.

“We avoided the worst because it could have been a fracture like Patrick Williams, so the idea is to be aggressive with the treatment but making sure he is healthy”, explains Billy Donovanin reference to the winger's injury at the start of the 2021/22 season, who was absent for four months.

Lonzo Ball having not played for more than 1000 days, following his three knee operations, the Bulls will obviously be very patient, and careful, with their player.

“His wrist is less swollen and he still wears a splint”continues the coach. “It’s a matter of healing time. He said, if he comes back too early, and it's still early, then it could be a problem. »

For the moment, the former Lakers and Lakers player, who systematically came off the bench, has only played three games averaging 4.7 points and 3.7 assists in 16 minutes.
