Like LeBron James, Jeff Green also defies time

He played against his coach Ime Udoka and with Bucks coach Adrian Griffin, but Jeff Green is not yet an NBA coach. He's not even an assistant, since at 37 years old, he continues to do damage every evening coming off the bench.

NBA champion with the Nuggets, the former Celtics and Thunder winger was seduced by the Rockets project, and last night, he really hurt the Bucks with 16 points. Proof of his impact on the team, his coach left him on the field during the last seven minutes of the match.

“He is ultra-athletic, very motivated, he takes care of his body and he is proud of his job,” lists Ime Udoka, after the Rockets' victory. “It’s a testimony to his daily work, to what he transmits to the team. He is always very reliable for us, and we ask a lot of him. Bravo to him! »

The model veteran

Used as a pivot in a “small ball” five or as a power forward alongside Sengun, Green began his 16th season among the pros, and he is not there to play mentor at the end of the bench. Like last season in Denver, he continues to easily play between 15 and 20 minutes per game. He's the ideal replacement for a coach, and last night, he played 34 minutes!

“Every year, I try to work to be available every time I am called upon,” Green explains. “Everything Coach Ime [Udoka] asks me to do, I do it. And I prepare myself this way, to always be ready.”
