Lester Quinones keeps his two-way contract at Golden State

After spending most of his time in the G-League, with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Lester Quinones was signed by the Warriors to be the 15th player in the group, with a ten-day contract, in the last weeks of the 2022/2023 regular season.

For Golden State, it was just a maneuver to continue to take advantage of Ty Jerome and Anthony Lamb in a “two-way contract”. The latter will then obtain a contract and, with a game of musical chairs, Lester Quinones will recover his “two-way contract”.

The Athletic We now learn that the back, who has only played four games for the Warriors and shone in the Summer League this summer with 21.9 points on average, will keep the same contract for the 2023/24 season.

It is Golden State’s first two-way contract, which therefore still has two places to offer since the franchises, with the new collective agreement, can now sign three players with this type of contract.
