Lester Quinones goes from Warriors to Sixers

The Sixers camp will not be without interest since there is still a place to be taken in the roster. Seven players will compete for this free spot, and The Athletic announces that there will be Lester Quinoneswho is coming off two seasons with the Warriors. Signed in ” two-way contract“He'll push Jeff Dowtin, Justin Edwards or David Jones out, who each had that type of contract, but he could also get that 15th spot.

That's what happened last season in Golden State. Initially signed on a “two-way contract”, he finally joined the NBA roster in February to play a total of 37 games. The previous season, he was unable to convert his “two-way contract” into a fixed-term contract until the end of the season, and he had to settle for a 10-day contract.

In the G-League, this Dominican international played for two seasons with the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 21 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists.

Two-way contract : Designed to create a new bridge between the NBA and the G-League, this type of contract allows each team to secure the services of two or three additional players, to have them play mainly in their affiliated development league franchise but also up to 50 matches in the NBA.
