Frank Vogel was categorical before the meeting in Atlanta: LeBron James’ left knee is swollen, and as long as it is still there, no “King James” on the court.
The Lakers star had even returned to Los Angeles before his teammates, who were finishing their “road trip”, in order to treat his knee. But after three missed matches in a row, The Athletic tells us that things are still not going better for the former Cleveland and Miami player.
The quadruple champion and MVP should therefore miss the reception of the Blazers on Wednesday evening, as well as a few more matches afterwards. The California franchise wants to be very careful with LeBron James, 37, coming off a huge January averaging 30.3 points in 36 minutes.
