It is only a word but it is a harbinger of an imminent return. Listed as “absent” for weeks, LeBron James is today announced as “very uncertain” (“doubtful”) for the reception of the Bulls tonight. Earlier in the week, there was talk of a possible return for the final week of the regular season.
It is recalled that the Lakers superstar has missed his team’s last 13 games due to a tendon injury in his right foot. A few days ago, the 38-year-old announced on Twitter training three times a day to prepare for his return to competition.
His coach, Darvin Ham, said on Friday that he was progressing normally: It’s about doing what is necessary for his foot to be restored. In his absence, the Californians have a positive record of eight wins and five losses. This now allows them to benefit from a balanced balance sheet over the season (37 wins – 37 losses).
For this match against the Bulls, the presence of D’Angelo Russell, embarrassed in the hip, is not guaranteed, where Anthony Davis (foot) should be there.
