LeBron James’ advice to young Lakers? Get away from televisions and social networks…

It’s a habit for LeBron James in the playoffs. As soon as he arrives in the postseason, the “King” puts his social networks on hold, just to limit outside noise and all the controversies that develop there on a daily basis.

The leading scorer in NBA history encourages his young teammates to do the same, to avoid debates with each victory and defeat, which can pollute the concentration of the group.

“For young people who haven’t been in the postseason or don’t have a lot of postseason experience, stay away from TV and social media”, thus advised LeBron James. “If you win a game, everyone is the best player in the world. If you lose a match, everyone falls on you. It’s as simple as that. It’s about training your mind to take on the next challenge. And what is the next challenge? This game is over, we played well. OK very good. But we have another on Monday.”

The advice also applies to Anthony Davis, whose fluctuating performances are thus much talked about.

“I’m not on social media” dismiss the interior. “My teammates don’t talk to me about it, my relatives don’t talk to me about it. So I hadn’t heard of it at all. That’s crazy… “

For Anthony Davis, this phenomenon of even and odd matches is purely random.

“The shots I had in Game 1, I had them in Game 2. I made them in Game 1, I missed them in Game 2. The same shots I had in Game 2. Game 2, I had them in Game 3. I missed them in Game 2 and got them in Game 3. I consider that I just missed shots. I didn’t do anything different. I changed nothing. I know, especially at this time of year, that I give everything on the pitch. »

LeBron James concludes by asking his teammates not to ignite. Even though they lead 2-1 in the series and reacted well to their big loss in Game 2, you should never let your guard down against the Warriors.

“We are one of the best defensive teams in the league, if not the best”concludes the winger. “And to reach our potential, we have to defend at a high level. There’s no team in this league that tests you more defensively than Golden State.”
