This year, a father and son could very well have teamed up at the “ Skills Challenge » 2025 of San Francisco. Except that Chris Haynes teaches us that Lebron And Bronny James did not want to take advantage of this opportunity to become the first father/son duo to take part in this event, traditionally organized on Saturday.
Already forming the first father/son duo to have played together in an NBA match, LeBron and Bronny James could therefore have once again strengthened their common history in the Big League, but they will still wait before doing so, possibly. On the other hand, this will not prevent “King James” from being present for his 21st All-Star Game (a record), since he was named in the West five.
Note that Bronny James, who mainly plays in the G-League with the team affiliated with the Lakers (South Bay), also refused an invitation to participate in the “Rising Stars Challenge” on Friday.
It will thus be an “off” weekend for the son, unlike his father who will, as always, be expected in the starting five for the All-Star Game on Sunday.
