This is one of the great stories of this season (still) marked by a huge “turnover” in the various squads of the Great League. After four 10-day contracts, Lance Stephenson will indeed end the season with the Pacers !
The darling of the local public since his visits to Indianapolis between 2010 and 2014 then between 2017 and 2018, “Born Ready” renewed this love story by turning to 9 points and 4 average assists in 17 appearances for the Pacers. He notably marked the spirits with a point of 30 units against Brooklyn in his third outing with Indy, or a big double-double with 16 points, 14 assists to defeat the Jazz the following match…
Appeared earlier this season with the Hawks, without convincing, Stephenson had started the year in the G-League (at Grand Rapids Gold) in the hope of obtaining a last freelance in the NBA. After two seasons outside the League, including an experience in China in 2019-20, Stephenson has therefore won his bet, and in his heart franchise at that!
