Lamelo Ball absent at least a week

After Grant Williams, Brandon Miller or Tre Mann, the infirmary of Hornets continue to fill and this time it is Lamelo Ball who comes to garnish.

We knew the leader (still) hit the left ankle since Monday evening, and the reception of the Lakers, but here Espn announces the duration of its unavailability. This will amount to a week, in the best of cases, because of this sprain caused by contact with Jarred Vanderbilt.

Until now the author of his most beautiful individual season (28.2 points, 7.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 interception of average), Lamelo Ball is in the running to win the second appearance at the All-Star Game. Substitutes will be known this Thursday and he should be able to take his place in San Francisco… if he is retained by the coaches.

Like the season of Charlotte is already lost (14th in the east for 12 victories and 32 defeats …), however for “Melo” to force on this part of his body, already too often weakened and subject to injuries in the past.
