The last time the Ball brothers, Lonzo And LaMelohad crossed paths on an NBA court, it was November 29, 2021. Injuries then began to derail the big brother's career and it was therefore only 1,145 days later that the two brothers were able to meet iron on the NBA courts…
“It would have been much better if we had won” joked the Bulls player (6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals) after the game. “Facing him obviously makes these matches more important to me, simply because he’s my little brother, and I grew up facing him my whole life.”
Under the eyes of their third brother, LiAngelo, now converted to music, it was the Hornets who won behind the youngest child's 26 points and 9 assists.
Always “children” when they meet
Before the meeting, the three brothers were able to enjoy an evening together to share a meal and their recent successes. LaMelo is thus at the top of the votes for the All-Star Game on the “backcourt” of the East, LiAngelo seems to be succeeding in his reconversion as a rapper and Lonzo is simply enjoying being able to play basketball again.
“His journey was incredible” explains LaMelo about his big brother. “It’s always fantastic to see my two brothers. These are always good times. »
Lonzo Ball explains that the three brothers “become children again” when they are together, while he still reminded his brother that they are now tied in their duels in the Great League.
“Our record (against each other) is two wins for two losses. So he can't bring her back too much.” reminded the big brother. Except that LaMelo for his part is convinced (wrongly, editor's note) that he now leads three victories to one. “He assures that he is at 3-1. I don't know how this guy thinks sometimes” concludes Lonzo Ball.
