LA Lakers: the big return of Gabe Vincent

As he has almost never been available this season (five games, for 5.4 points, 3.0 assists and 1.2 interceptions on average, at 12% at 3-points…), we almost forgot that Gabe Vincent is a player of Lakersbut The Athletic indicates that he is (finally) very close to a return to competition.

The 27-year-old “combo guard”, among the main signings of Los Angeles last summer, will join his team at the heart of its “road trip” to the East and, barring a last minute relapse, he should return to the courts during Sunday evening's trip to Brooklyn.

An NBA finalist to attack the home stretch

Three months after his last match, Gabe Vincent would therefore strengthen the Lakers' back lines two weeks before the play-in and/or playoffs. One more option for Darvin Ham on the back lines alongside D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves or even Spencer Dinwiddie and Max Christie.

We remember that the former Heat player, NBA title finalist, has been handicapped since the start of the season by his left knee (synovium effusion, and therefore swelling), which had to be operated on around Christmas.
