Kyrie Irving soon at adidas or Puma?

Free agent this summer, Kyrie Irving is doubly so since it also finds itself without an equipment supplier. Last winter, the Mavericks point guard lost his contract with Nike after promoting a film with anti-Semitic tropes on his social networks. The drop of water too much for the comma brand, which had decided to end their collaboration.

Since then, a few brands had taken an interest in his situation, and according to Bally Sportsadidas and Puma would be the best placed to secure the services of the 2016 NBA champion. On the other hand, Li-Ning would no longer be part of the equipment manufacturers on the list.

At Puma, he could become the head of the gondola

After James Harden, Damian Lillard, Trae Young or Donovan Mitchell, adidas would thus add a new rear to its collection of stars. On the Puma side, the headliner is LaMelo Ball and a catch like Kyrie Irving could allow the brand to be talked about more.

On his live Instagram, Kyrie Irving confirmed this week that he would soon make an announcement on his next equipment supplier.
