Kristaps Porzingis back in Game 4 against Indiana?

It's getting closer. Injured right calf since the first round of the playoffs against Miami, Kristaps Porzingis could return during Game 4 in Indiana, ESPN announcement. The player is currently gaining momentum and that's good news for the Celtics, who just opened the series with a tough overtime win.

The Latvian has suffered very specifically from a contracture of the right soleus muscle, this muscle located above the Achilles tendon, since April 29. Thus, if he returns for the fourth round, scheduled for Monday May 27, he will therefore have missed a month of competition.

A reasonable timing for Kristaps Porzingis, who had thought the worst at the beginning (i.e. a rupture of the Achilles tendon), when we recall that Giannis Antetokounmpo was only at 30 or 40% of his physical means four weeks after having contracted the same injury at the end of the regular season.

Still far from returning to his best level, and while he had only resumed racing during the series, the Greek was thus unable to play against the Pacers during the first round of the playoffs.
