Kostas Antetokounmpo is officially back in the NBA. After spending two seasons at the Lakers thanks to a “two-way contract”, with an NBA championship title at stake, in 2020 in the “bubble”, the little brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo tried to revive himself in France, to Asvel, where he was rather discreet (4 points and 2 rebounds in 11 minutes on average), just like during the EuroBasket with Greece.
The inside got another chance to show off during the Bulls’ training camp and would have looked pretty good since he’s just been signed by the Illinois franchise. via a new “two-way contract”.
Note that Chicago currently has three “two-way contracts” with Kostas Antetokounmpo, Malcolm Hill and Justin Lewis and will have to quickly oust one.
The other good news is that Kostas Antetokounmpo will not be far from his brothers, Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Chicago and Milwaukee being separated by less than 150 kilometers…
