Khris Middleton resumed training, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton still limited

Uncertainty reigns in recent days in Milwaukee, which is still waiting to know who will be its opponent in the first round of these 2023 playoffs, between Chicago and Miami, and hopes for good news about three of its players in the infirmary, Khris Middleton, Grayson Allen And Pat Connaughton.

Affected in the knee since April 5 during a match against the Bulls, Khris Middleton took another step yesterday in his rehabilitation. After returning to individual training and bodybuilding on Tuesday, the winger took part in his first full collective training session. Good news for his return.

The Bucks won’t take any chances

Mike Budenholzer also updated on Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton, who are both recovering from right ankle sprains, saying the two have done more limited training.

Nothing is fixed yet as to the participation of these three players for Game 1 on Sunday. No doubt the Bucks won’t take any chances if one or more of them aren’t 100% by then.

“We want them to be as fit as possible”, pointed out the Milwaukee coach. “With all these guys, I think getting back to training is one of the notable steps, and almost as important is seeing how they feel the next day, how their bodies react and all that stuff. then. It was a good day collectively. It was a good day for all of them. We will see how they react, how they feel and we will continue to prepare for Sunday”.

The first veil will be lifted this evening after the meeting between Miami and Chicago, which will designate the first opponent of the Bucks in this 2023 playoff campaign.
