Kevin Durant returns to care

The Suns and Kevin Durant are definitely not varnished. While the All-Star winger has just returned from a first stay in the infirmary for a calf strain, here he is again possibly on the side.

Kevin Durant left in the second quarter against the Spurs, injured in an ankle. “KD” did not return to the game and he is uncertain for his team's next match on Thursday against the Pelicans, while Phoenix will begin a three-game road trip.

The winger was injured when his ankle turned on the foot of Julian Champagnie, four minutes from the end of the second quarter, while he was placing his support to shoot. “ He stepped on someone's foot while going on the counterattack, and by halftime it got worse » explained Mike Budenholzer after the meeting. “ We'll have to check him tomorrow morning and see how he's feeling, see how he's doing overnight. »

1v-6d for the Suns without him

Kevin Durant was off to a very solid start with 13 points in 16 minutes. Despite this hard blow, the Suns managed to compensate for his absence to dominate San Antonio. But a prolonged absence could again cost the Arizona franchise, impressive with a Kevin Durant fit for duty but in great difficulty in his absence (11 victories – 2 defeats with him, 1 victory – 6 defeats during his convalescence).

It's part of the game »reacted Bradley Beal. “ You can't really be upset about it, or blame anyone. You don't have to feel anything special. That's how it is. »

After the match against New Orleans, Phoenix will go to Florida to face the Heat and then the Magic this weekend.
