Kevin Durant in the Top 10 best scorers in history

Contrasting evening for Kevin Durantwhich is “ sick of ruining Jusuf Nurkic's performance » against the Nuggets. Yet author of 30 points and 11 assists, “KD” missed out in the second half with an ugly 0 out of 10 on shots. But his evening was not completely wasted, since last night he entered the Top 10 of the best scorers in history. It's a small feat when you think about the number of matches he missed in his career…

More than 27 career points average

Before the meeting, Durant needed 17 points to overtake Moses Malone, and here he now is with 27,423 career points, compared to 27,409 points for the former Rockets and Sixers interior, who died in 2015 at age 60. Tonight, Durant played his 1,003rd career game, and his career scoring average is easy to calculate: just over 27 points per game.

His 27.34 points average places him in the Top 5 behind Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Joel Embiid and Elgin Baylor. Sixth in this ranking, LeBron James did not fail to congratulate his friend.

Next target for Durant, Carmelo Anthony, currently 9th best scorer in history with 28,289 career points.
