The “Green Room” is starting to fill up. The first twelve names had been announced, including those of three French people, no less: Zaccharie Risacher, Alexandre Sarr and Tidjane Salaün. And others have just followed, notably that of Kel'el Ware.
The pivot of the Indiana Hoosiers (2m13, 110 kilos) was also invited Jonathan Givony. ESPN’s Mr. Draft adds three more names: Carlton “Bub” Carrington, DaRon Holmes and Tristan Da Silva. These are 24 players who were invited, even if Zach Edey has already refused, to stay with his teammates.
Kel'el Ware is coming off a successful season under Mike Woodson. He averaged 15.9 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks. Above all, he displays solid percentages: 58% shooting success and even 42% at 3-points (40 attempts). If he is not really an offensive threat from afar, nor a natural attacker, he has a very correct movement for a big man and, near the circle, he is very interesting.
Very fluid and mobile in his movements, he is above all a big presence in defense and seems ready to make an impact in the NBA in his first season in this area.
