Karl-Anthony Towns victim of a torn meniscus!

It was too good for the Wolves. At the top of the Western Conference, tied with the Thunder, with 43 wins for 19 losses, Minnesota was in an ideal position entering the home stretch before the playoffs.

But Shams Charania announces that Karl-Anthony Towns suffers from a torn meniscus in his left knee!

It's the same injury as Joel Embiid, and given the timing, it has a good chance of ending the Minnesota All-Star's season. Even if The Athletic's insider announces that the first choice of the 2015 Draft is in the process of obtaining various medical opinions, undoubtedly to see if he can find a way to play again this season.

Minnesota loses its second leading scorer

For Rudy Gobert and his team, this is obviously very, very bad news, as Karl-Anthony Towns is the second best scorer on the team, behind Anthony Edwards.

Even if his choices can at times be criticized, particularly in the fourth quarter, KAT is an absolutely essential offensive weapon for the Wolves, and his overall efficiency (51% shooting success, 42% at 3-points and 88% on the free throw line) is a major reason for his team's good season.
