Injured since January 27 after dislocating his shoulder against Miami, Julius Randle gave his news for the first time, during a press briefing held Wednesday at the Knicks training center.
True to his warrior state of mind, the New York interior ensured that he is hanging on during his rehabilitation process, even if the option of surgery is not yet completely ruled out.
“There are still steps to take. There is a process to follow. I have to weigh the pros and cons and decide from there. But for now I'm focused on trying to avoid surgery and get back on the field as soon as possible,” did he declare.
Operation rhymes with end of season
The decision to switch to billiards would have serious consequences since it would lead to his withdrawal until the end of the season. At the same time, it is about one's health and choosing the best option so that one's body is well cared for. For the moment, the trend would be rather towards optimism.
“I’m happy to be where I am today. I feel better, stronger, I’m progressing where I need to progress to be better on the pitch”he added. “But I'm not someone who says 'never,' so in the end, I have to do what's best for me, in order to have a long career and longevity.”
The countdown is on for Julius Randle with 27 games remaining in the regular season for the Knicks, a month and a half to recover and hope to participate at the end of the season, before why not consider an operation during the offseason.
