Juhann Begarin leaves Paris for Nanterre

A priori, it is not yet next season that we will see Juhann Begarin in the Celtics jersey. The day after Nadir Hifi signed for Paris Basketball, the back of Les Bleus decided to join Nanterre for two seasons.

“Juhann is a big prospect who has already demonstrated the full extent of his talent. We’re going to take him to the next level. We don’t set limits with Juhann! » reacted Pascal Donnadieu, who met him in selection. Earlier this week, the club had already welcomed the extension of Justin Bibbins’ contract.

Drafted in the second round by Boston in 2021, he was shooting this season at 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists with the capital club. Last summer, Begarin distinguished himself in the summer league with an average of 18.5 points. No doubt the possibility of winning in the France group in anticipation of the 2024 Olympic Games weighed in his decision.
