What appears on the Zion 3 is a detail rare enough to be highlighted. It often happens that the signature models of NBA stars alternate in terms of the composition of the materials to design the upper, which was particularly the case with the Zion 2. On the other hand, we almost never see any adjustment affecting the technical characteristics or the design of the pair, even if we can also cite counter-examples, such as the recent LeBron 21 which now covers its upper with FlyWire cables.
Jordan Brand has therefore decided to innovate along the way with the Zion 3adjusting the Zion Williamson's third signature shoe with the presence of a strap to cover the laces!
Called Zion 3 “MUD”, the latter was thus unveiled in an “Orchid” color. The model features an “orchid” tone in pale purple, covered with embroidery all over the shoe, and therefore the strap. The same color covers the sole, only the Jumpman comes out in black on the tongue and heel.
It remains to be hoped that Zion Williamson will quickly recover to find his team in the playoffs, and why not wear this revisited shoe which will notably provide him with better support. For the general public, the release of the Zion 3 MUD “Orchid” is currently announced for this summer at a price of 150 dollars.
